Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing method in which a trained professional uses a smooth-edged tool to stroke your skin while they press on it. This motion raises small, red,  rash -like dots that show under your skin called  petechiae.

People use Gua sha to treat chronic pain all over their body. They often do it alongside other complementary treatments like herbal medicine,  massageacupuncture , and  heat therapy.

Cosmetic Gua sha offers a completely different technique from other treatments, designed to improve skins health whilst providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This treatment reduces wrinkles, lifts eyebrows, relaxes the jaw muscles and reduces the effects of deep tissue stress.

This facial treatment also Stimulates the lymphatic and circulatory systems which can help increase collagen production. This increased collagen helps to fill in wrinkles and plump the skin. Smooth fine lines and wrinkles, which are often related to tension in our face.

Studies have shown that Gua Sha increases micro-circulation to the treated area, the increased circulation may play a role in decreasing myalgia. Studies also conclude that there is a pain-relieving biomechanism associated with Gua Sha.
